16 INT. ARENA HALLWAYS - VARIOUS SHOTS
of Boomer running in and out of people going to their seats as the Guard and Robbie are in hot pursuit.
17 INT. HALLWAY OUTSIDE LOCKER ROOM
The door opens and the Bucketeers, dressed in uniforms, start out for the arena court. Spirits are high, basketballs are being tossed back and forth. They ADLIB about the sellout crowd and putting on a great show. Meadowlark spots his old friend, Boomer, dashing down the hall with the Guard and Robbie close behind. As before, Boomer jumps up to Meadowlark. Meadowlark instinctively takes the scroll from Boomer. Meadowlark unrolls scroll, reads a beat.
MEADOWLARK 'For excellence as a scholar...'?
(laughing) I'm sorry Boomer, but there's no way this belongs to me.
ROBBIE That's mine.
MEADOWLARK Is that right, Boomer?
Boomer BARKS.
MEADOWLARK (continuing) Well you just march over there and give it right back.
Meadowlark places the scroll back in Boomer's mouth, and Boomer actually marches over stiffly to Robbie.. .
MEADOWLARK
(continuing; laughing) I said march, and he marched.
(to Robbie) Is he your dog?
